All swimmers under Jill and her assistants instruction will become strong, competent and relaxed swimmers.

Swim Groups

Objective of Group

200 Freestyle Time

(Time Trials held once a term)

Advanced Improvers

1/2 hr class.

Improving stroke technique in all 4 strokes. Stamina and speed work.

Over 5 minutes.

Semi-Flight

1/2 hr class.

Improving fitness, advancing stroke technique in all 4 strokes, learning race strategy. Improvement on race starts and turns.

Under 5 minutes.


Flight

1 hr class.

Working hard and enjoying doing so. Further improving fitness, swimming, and race skills including race starts and turns.

Under 5 minutes.

Top Flight

A selected group of swimmers who swim for competition. Extra training sessions are attended.
